Velusta X World Cycling Championships 2021

During this 100th anniversary of the World cycling championships Velusta was invited to show its innovative protective cycling clothing to the world and to demonstrate the future of cycling. In the picturesque city of Leuven, Flanders, a beautiful Innovation Hub was set up where all the newest gadgets from the cycling world were presented.

For Velusta it was the ideal opportunity to connect with new people from all over the world, hear their stories and attract new customers and partnerships. We even had the honour to show our innovative clothing to Minister of Sport Ben Weyts. We were delighted to hear from him that he already had a Velusta outfit from the special edition with Knokke-Heist and that he was very pleased with it.

Our unique 3D Impact Protection passed the test brilliantly and you could hear in the audience how impressed everyone was.

During some interesting keynotes of, among others, Classified and cycling legend Tom Boonen, Velusta had the opportunity to give its own keynote on protective bicycle clothing. Velusta did this with a live test of our protection with a sanding machine going 60km/h on stage. Our unique 3D Impact Protection passed the test brilliantly and you could hear in the audience how impressed everyone was.
