KNOKKE-HEIST X TAILOR MADE OUTFIT

In 2021, the World Championships Time Tial will start in Knokke-Heist. One of the more beautiful beach towns in Belgium. The municipality of Knokke-Heist wanted to celebrate this occasion with a unique cycling outfit that prioritizes exclusivity, quality, innovation and design. Their partner par excellence? Velusta of course! Together with them Velusta designed a Tailor Made Cycling Outfit that puts them in the picture as the cycling city of Belgium.

For Velusta it was a unique project. For the first time in its fledgling existence, it was able to execute its own Tailor Made Project, and what a one. For the 100th anniversary of the World Championship this obviously had to be something very special. Therefore, a timeless design was chosen with stripes in gold and white colors that emphasize the luxurious character of Knokke-Heist. This combined with Velusta’s unique and innovative 3D Protection against abrasions made a very exclusive and stylish cycling outfit.

The cycling outfit was officially presented at the World Championship stand in front of the Grand Casino in Knokke-Heist together with Mayor Piet De Groote and the board. He was a big fan and rightly so, and very proud of the fact that Knokke-Heist is one of the host cities for the World Time Trial Championships.

In addition to the Tailor Made cycling outfits, Velusta also provided Knokke-Heist with personalized merchandise. Jerseys, shirts, water bottles, cycling socks, gloves and caps were all provided in the house style of Knokke-Heist. So everyone can support their team from the sidelines. The merchandise was designed with sustainability in mind. The jerseys and shirts, for example, are made of organic cotton and all of the packaging is biodegradable.
